The first two episodes of Apple TV+’s upcoming limited drama series “Lessons in Chemistry,” starring and executive produced by Academy Award winner Brie Larson (“Captain Marvel,” “Room”), will premiere on Friday, October 13, 2023.

“Lessons in Chemistry,” based on author, science editor, and copywriter Bonnie Garmus’ best-selling debut novel of the same name, follows Elizabeth Zott (played by Larson), whose dream of becoming a scientist is put on hold in a patriarchal society. When Elizabeth is fired from her lab, she accepts a job as a host on a TV cooking show and sets out to teach a nation of overlooked housewives – and the men who are suddenly listening – much more than recipes. New episodes will be released every Friday until November 24, 2023.

Lewis Pullman, Aja Naomi King, Stephanie Koenig, Kevin Sussman, Patrick Walker, and Thomas Mann co-star with Larson in the Apple TV+ series.

Apple Studios produces “Lessons in Chemistry” for Apple TV+. Lee Eisenberg, a six-time Emmy Award nominee, is the showrunner. Oscar nominated Susannah Grant executive produces alongside Larson. Aggregate Films executive producers are Jason Bateman and Michael Costigan. Natalie Sandy and Eisenberg co-executive produce through Piece of Work Entertainment. Louise Shore also serves as executive producer.
